The Volkswagen Tiguan has enjoyed popularity ever since debuting as a concept vehicle at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show. The excitement is building once again, as the all-new 2018 Tiguan will be hitting showroom floors later this summer. What’s new in this latest model of VW’s compact crossover SUV? Stay tuned to find out!
Everything You Need to Know About the 2018 Tiguan
The first thing you’ll notice about the new Tiguan is that it’s bigger — with a foot more of overall length. This means that the Tiguan now offers seating for seven with the optional third-row of seats. The middle bench features a 40/20/40 split, the third row has a 50/50 split, and both fold flat to create a total of 85 cu.ft. of cargo space.
The Tiguan also boasts a new driver-centric dashboard with the available Volkswagen Digital Cockpit. This advanced system is a large, reconfigurable LCD instrument cluster with a multi-function steering wheel for easy access to cruise control, Bluetooth™, and the available Fender® Premium audio system.
A quality interior would mean nothing without a beautiful exterior, but that’s not an issue with for the 2018 Tiguan. LED headlights and tail lights complement an array of new color choices, and standard 17” alloy wheels give it a sleek and sporty look, while the available hands-free Easy Open rear liftgate makes loading and unloading your Tiguan a snap.
